I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #14385) with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology (MCP) from Adler University (Vancouver campus), and a Medical Degree from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I practiced as a physician for 15 years — an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of human health and the critical role of mental well-being.
I am a member of both the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy.
I believe that in order to truly help others develop self-awareness,
a therapist must first go through that journey themselves.
It’s difficult to guide someone through a process that you haven’t personally experienced. For me, this process has involved years of Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalytic therapy, which have given me a more mature and compassionate understanding of myself, of human nature, and of the world around me.
Being honest with oneself is challenging, yet deeply rewarding work
My background as a physician has also shaped my perspective on mental health.
I’ve come to understand how vital it is to treat mental and emotional well-being with the same attention and care as physical health. In that role, I learned how to connect with people on a human level, building relationships based on empathy and trust.
In my personal life, I’m equally committed to physical fitness.
I train most days of the week, always striving to improve my strength, endurance, and overall well-being.
Fitness helps me stay grounded and energized, and it reflects my belief in the deep connection between mental and physical health.
